Earthquake anyone??

Did anyone feel it? They said 5.2 magnitude in Oklahoma. My Fi thought someone was coming through our roof!! Haha and it woke me up! So crazy, never felt one before!

Yes!  It was more subtle here than in other parts of the area.  We live near downtown Dallas in a second floor apartment.  I felt the floor moving and thought, "OMG, our 30 year old apartment building is about to give way..." and my laptop was shaking in my lap.  FI was in the room next to me listening to louder music with a lot of bass and felt nothing.

We didn't have any pictures rattling on the walls or things shaking on the countertops.  So crazy and kind of cool to feel that (only cool because for us it was not damaging and not frightening...NOT saying that earthquakes in general are 'cool' events).

I thought my butt was just falling asleep until my facebook start blowing up with everyone talking about the 'quake.  :P  I was on our leather couch on the first floor of our apartment/townhouse thing (meaning we're on ground level), so I really didn't feel anything.  I have friends in OK, both at OU and OSU, who had stuff rattling on the counters and walls, but nothing really major.

Over here in arlington we felt nothing but the people in redoak did. We live on the 3rd floor so i am sure we would have felt something but we didnt. The only reason we even knew there was a hurricane is bc my FI sister called us and asked if we felt it but we didnt..would have been cool to say i experienced an earthquake in Texas though.

I didn't feel anything over here in Fort Worth ... but I was already asleep so maybe I just slept through it!

I'll have to ask Fi when he gets up,...I was asleep already. so...nope..I felt nothing.

We're in Addison and didn't feel anything. A ton of my friends did all over the area, though. My Facebook was blowing up with Earthquake updates.
