I don't think so - I did it. ;-)

We each had a house and so in combining, I knew we would lose some closet space so we registered for those super slim no slip hangers.  Got every single one of them, too!

I'm super-anal about how my closet looks, and I have to have everything on matching hangars.  I got a TON of those nice wooden hangars from BB&B and it just makes me happy to look into my closet.  When it's organized it actually looks NICE instead of thrown together.  

I think registering for hangars, hampers, etc is just fine:-)

Mrs.B, I love those hangers.  We got a bunch from Costco, and I am going to transition all of our hangers to those.  

And I agree that registering for this kind of stuff is ok.

I agree with Mrs. B and Jessica.  The slim non-slip hangers are very, very nice.  OP, you could register for boxes of them at BBB.

I think this is great.  Did you know that the container store also has a registry? We're thinking about setting one up there just to get one of those elfa closet organization systems at a 10% discount post-wedding...

I'm so glad to hear this, haha. We need a ton of closet organizing things and hangers and I wanted to register for some stuff but I felt like that might be weird. I'm glad I'm not the only one needing that stuff thanks!
