SA Wednesday

I never thought that being married would feel different considering we have lived together for over 3 years.  Surprisingly there is something about having the same legal last name that gives me a wonderful feeling.

This might be a flame but oh well.

Some of the girls on my month board are okay but the vast majority of them are just ridiculous!  There is a post over there from yesterday where the girl is basically b*tching about people who got her crappy and useless gifts.  Really?  A month ago or so a girl had a whole post about how the gifts from her shower sucked.  The worst part is that the vast majority of the girls on the board just support this crap.

I completely agree, BL. I felt different after getting married and never agreed with the girls who said "nothing feels different" or "nothing changes." My relationship didn't "change", no, but being married does feel different to me! In a very good way! P.s. I'm half sad you didn't start this on TN, minus the wedding talk

Ok sorry I feel like I should know this but who is Summerof09?? I assume it's someone who changed their sn and I totally missed it.

BL- I completely understand. There are a ton of things on my month board I just look over now a days. I can't believe people complain about gifts!! What's wrong with people? Getting gifts is not a right as a bride it's still something someone else offers to give you!

Bobbileigh - I agree with you on our monthly board.  Some um interesting ladies over there.  There are some girls who also just post what ever in the heck they are thinking every two seconds.  If you know what I mean.  Like the most random stuff, I open it and think quickly think why did I even bother!

And I agree!  It is different being married.  I really didn't think it would be.  My DH is different too...in a really good way of course! :-)

Well - I'm down to less than 2 weeks of grad school - which is awesome, but also means that the next 2 weeks are going to be INSANE (with probably very little WR)

Though, I'm having my make-up trial this morning   Will post pics later!

AND - the National Guard just moved my APFT (physical fitness) test up by a month, so now, I'll literally be taking it the day before I fly to Las Vegas (2 days before my ceremony...) SO I see A LOT of serious working out in my future for the next 6 weeks.

I am now going through the process of getting my last name changed.  I feel like its a bit bittersweet.  I am happy to be taking his name to become a family, but I will miss my old name!

Usually my FI is the sweet caring one who puts up with my craziness and last night he was being moody. I asked him what was wrong and he said I was annoying him. I didn't think I was acting any differently than I always do. We always pick at each other, just playing.
Do you just get sick of being around your FI every once in a while?
He has an interview today, maybe he was just nervous.
I guess its good I'm going to be out of town this weekend.

I felt the same way... I am way excited to have my "new" last name, but my maiden name has been "me" for almost 27 years!
