Dfw venues

Im looking to get married in April 2013 Saturday or Sunday it doesn't matter.. My budget is under 4k. I'm looking to have 60-75 guests attend. Also to find a place that has the ceremony site and reception site at the same place. Also be a BYOB and bring your food would be nice but not a must. I'm just needing it to be under 4k. Any ideas would be great! :-)

  • Avanti at Fountain Place would be lovely if it's in budget (don't allow outside catering).  Also, with your guest list, you might consider a restaurant.  We had a Knottie get married on the roof of the downtown El Fenix and she said it was one of the cheapest she could find.

Here are some that allow outside catering and alcohol:
    Lofty Spaces
    Event 1013 (Plano)
    Colleyville Center
    Texas Discovery Gardens (Fair Park)
Occasions at Stone River (Royse City)
    Irving Arts Center
Addison Event Center (although might be too big for your size)
    Fairy Tale Manor (Frisco).

  • J and I attended a wedding this weekend at Shadow Ridge Farm in Terrell; it was a beautiful and rustic setting. They provided their own beer (kegs-cheap) and wine (Trader Joe's 2 buck Chuck-cheap) and I imagine that you can bring in your own but don't quote me.
Addison Event Center may work if you do an afternoon-they would use half of the ballroom for your ceremony and half for the reception, so it wouldn't look too big for your guest count. We brought in our own beer and wine, but they handled the food.
