most brides do it.......i did it even the night before! it is not always a bad thing. if you have multiple registries with some of the same things on them that get purchased at one store, you can delete it off the other registry.

I did too, but mostly to make sure I didn't need to add anything.  After my first shower, almost everything was gone and I hadn't looked, so after that I kept tabs to make sure I didn't need to add anything.

I do it all the time and today went on and noticed that we got our first gift purchased!!Ahhhh sooo exciting!!

I do it too. I think a lot of people do. It makes me feel better to know I'm not the only one. :-) But I'm a little freaked out cause my shower is this Saturday and only 3 things have been purchased... Hopefully people are just waiting til the last minute... Or getting gift cards.

I think a lot of people get non-registry items for the shower and use the registry for the wedding gift itself.
