Our wedding is on December 16th and I hadn't planned on registering because our situation is not the traditional wedding. I got married very young, had a child, and divorced after four years. My fiance and I are 35yo and 33yo,have been together for five years, and live with our 4yo daughter and my 11yo daughter from my previous marriage. When we moved in together, we combined two households worth of stuff, have condensed, gotten rid of stuff, and now have a mixed hodge podge of things. I've had enough people ask me about registering, to which I originally replied that we weren't planning on it, that I finally (just this week) decided to do a somewhat small registry of things that need to be replaced/upgraded (approx 65 items) at one store. I also put a couple of Wii games on there that were family dancing type games...I do not plan on putting anything in the invitations about it because it just feels rude, and already told several that we weren't registering. Am I crazy for registering at all? Should I take the couple of kids things off or erase the whole thing? We are planning on approx 125-150 guests and with such a small registry it just seems silly. Any input is appreciated! Thank you!
