My FI and I went to start our registry over the weekend and we were shocked by how much china and nice flatware cost! Do most people really register for this stuff?? We'd love to have a nice set of dishes to use for all of the events to come in our lives as well as silverware that will last, but wow! What is your advice for putting such high ticket items on your registry? The china pattern we like is $65 for a 4-piece setting and flatware is $45 for a 5-piece setting. Multiply that by 8, 10, or 12 place settings and whoa!! Thoughts?
