My fiance and I were just wondering the same thing. Our wedding is in August and I keep hearing that we need to register. My fiance wants to wait because he is worried that we will register and then by time people go to purchase gifts for us the items will no longer be avaible. I think we are going to wait until Feb. or March. I am not sure. It seems that there is just so much to do!

I wish I had held off, a ton of my stuff got discontinued (including my everyday flatware after people had bought me some!) and my tastes changed (goodbye old everyday dish set, hello new one.). Re-registering SUCKS.
