Silly question-

Are you registering for two separate sets of luggage (one for each of you)??

We already had a set so we registered for another rolling carryon and the next size up from that.  Those are the two sizes we used most out of our set we already had.

We're also just registering for 2 pieces...1- 21" and 1-25" roller since that is what we use every time we travel and our current suitcases are beat up pretty bad.

We registered for two large suitcases (27 inches) for us since we already had decent carry-on luggage

We only registered for luggage for FI because his needs to be replaced badly.  Mine is new and I love it (pink & white plaid from Jansport) so I didn't need anything new.

We didn't register for luggage, but I would base it on what you usually use (or want) when you travel.  We already had one large and small samsonite (one has to be checked, the other is a roller that fits in the carry on).  I think we could probalby use another roller since with the new checked baggage charges, we rarely use the large one anymore.

Just think about how much you travel and what you will use.  We don't go on very long trips often, so having 2 full sets of luggage would be a complete waste of money.
