Well I have actually been here for about 2 yrs since my engagement but never formally introduced myself, now since everything is calming down I feel it is time.
My name is Brittany and I have been engaged since Christmas Eve 07'. While we were exchanging gifts with his family, FI tricked me into looking for a present under the tree. When I turned back around he was on his knee and had the ring. I was completely shocked and started to cry and then so did everyone else (even his big, manly BIL). Our engagement has been a long one because we were waiting until we graduated to actually get married.
Well we are both graduating from Texas State this Friday, so now the planning begins. Our wedding date is Sept. 18, 2010, our 10 year dating anniversary. I am excited but am also starting to freak out that I may not have enough time to plan.
I am looking forward to getting help from all the wonderful knotties that I feel I know from lurking/posting on here the last two years.
