  • I have no experience with it but it's very pretty.  And if you have no F&B minimum, that is a huge plus.  The great thing about hotel weddings is that everything is done for you--you don't have to worry about renting anything, setting anything up, etc.  It's about as stress free an experience as you can get.
  • I like the venue, but the reception spaces are pretty dark. Also, the mirroring on the wall of the reception ballroom threw me off a bit. However, the ceremony location is very pretty though and different (in a good way).
  •  Yes that no minimum for F&B is a double plus. Stress Free is what I'm aiming for. Hopefully this will be the most stressful part of the entire wedding, deciding on a venue.  In Response to <a href="http://forums.theknot.com/Sites/theknot/Pages/Main.aspx/local-wedding-boards_texas-dallas-ft-worth_hilton-park-cities-hotel?plckFindPostKey=Cat:Local Wedding BoardsForum:102Discussion:d93cd58e-315b-4069-986e-1ea93b07903dPost:1a751104-f6fb-4382-8305-c78f172e33eb">Re: Hilton Park Cities Hotel</a>:

  • I have an appt schedule with them tomorrow. The lady they're in the process of renovating the whole hotel. Why is it that every venue I'm interested in is renovating lol. I guess that's a good thing. She said I could'ne see the actual room but she sent pics of how it's going to look. Venue and guest list are definitely the most stressful!  :)
