I know this is crazy asking so last minute however I can not stand "Here comes the bride" It's like nails on the chalk board to me, even if I am a participant or guest at a wedding and other brides use this song it's like "ugh that song again" I just find it so cliche and I know most use it so people know they should be ready for the bride.
My question is this....suitable stand in for this song? At my first wedding I had Cannon in Minor D and then spent the night being lectured by Momzilla that she was mortified that she didn't know when to stand so the rest of the church could (she did know but like I said I could write a book about her...lol) Oh did I mention the wedding is this Friday so I guess I am pushing it.
Speaking of dear momzilla, I caved slightly with her and let her do the rehearsal dinner. FI's parents have passed on a few years ago and traditionally they have done it but like I said I said "go ahead mom do this" She seems somewhat pleased but trust me by the end of today she will find something else to pick on.

Couple’s Entrance. La Rejouissance from the Music for the Royal Fireworks - Handel
Processional. Brandenburg Concerto No. 2 in F, 1st Movement – Bach
Between our entrance (onto the terrace) and the processional (up the aisle), we plan to greet each guest -- together -- one-by-one.
Our entire wedding party entered to "Storybook Love" from the Princess Bride it's a 4.16 minute song and I came in after a break... We did not have our guests stand as I entered.
Well, first off, OMG this Friday?! Good for you and congratulations!
The Mother's and Groomsmen are walking into - Brazilian Wedding Song (Sarah Vaughn and Take 6)
Groom - a Keith Urban song (I forgot which one)
Bridesmaids - It is You I Have Loved (from "Shrek")
Bride - TBD
Recessional - Say Hey (I Love You)
mybooboos - yes I know Friday and FI with his twisted humour said walked down to that "It's Friday" song. I work with school age children and hear it alot and was like how about no, but he can have it at the reception if he wants.
Processional: All You Need is Love, The Beatles.
I can't wait!
[QUOTE]We didn't have music since it was just the two of us and the officiant at a beach, but I'm thinking that I would have loved to have had "Ladies and Gentlemen!" by Saliva. Perfect. :-)
