I don't have one yet for today...maybe later, I am expecting a package with our guest book being the contents!

Um ... we saved money on our car insurance? (We merged our insurance policies on Tuesday; since I haven't gotten our marriage license yet, this is one of the only things I was able to do).

But, since I last AW'd, I've gotten married and spent our honeymoon week in Italy. So I guess it's okay that I don't have much this week.

My AW's I guess would consist of my dress is in the process of being altered, YAY I picked up my wedding shoes...or should I say boots And I now have my candy scoops for the candy bar (thanks to Amanda)

I finally got my name on my license changed this week!  Yay!

Also, I got DH to agree to do some trash the dress pictures with me in October!

Congrats on the name change, Sparkling! I'm so ready to do this. Question though -- did you automatically get your marriage license in the mail? How long after the wedding? It's been almost two weeks and I haven't gotten ours -- I don't know if I need to call and follow up with someone or just sit back and wait.

LLC - did you get as much of a change as I did? I think we're saving $500 a year or so now. I didn't expect that much of a savings!

Yes, we got it in the mail.  My mom mailed it for me the Monday after the wedding (Apr 18) and we got it on like the 26th so ours only took about a week.  It came really fast!  I know for others it has taken like a month.  What county are you in?  Some counties seem to be slower than others.

<div>I'm not sure the yearly savings, but combined together we will be paying less per month then what DH was paying per month on his own.  He was happy about that.  Yay for married discounts and paperless discounts (we also have renter's insurance through them so I think that gave us a savings as well).</div>

Yes....2 hours was not fun! :-(  But at least it's done now.  Now I have just been lazy and haven't done the other stuff yet.  I have two credit cards changed because for some reason they didn't require me to write a letter or send in any proof or anything!

I stuck FI on my insurance when we conjoined bank account about 2 years ago...we did this because he was paying $180 a month just by his self...on one insurance it's only $145 for the both of us. I have a feeling this will drop slightly after the wedding, but we'll see :)

My scuba cert is the only thing that will be changed before the wedding, we went to register for our dives and the instructor asked if I just wanted my last name changed in the system before it was saved, that way i didn't have to worry about changing it. I was like "what the hell" by the time i use it it'll be after the wedding anyways :)

Um... I don't have much except I have a student who, after failing 11 unit tests, finally seems to have a really strong understanding of what we are doing and I am really proud of her.

Uh-oh ... I think we left our marriage license with the pastor of our church. I remember signing it, but nothing after that. (At any rate, we didn't mail it in.) ETA: I emailed the church to make sure they took care of it. Crossing my fingers they did!

I'm in Tarrant county though.

We merged finances before the wedding, but our insurance companies wouldn't let us merge those until after we were married (I checked, because wow that would've been awesome!)

I paid both ours annually, so I have no idea what we were paying/now are saving per month. They told us the biggest reason for the savings was having multiple cars on one policy, not the fact that we were married.

Tonight we'll merge our health insurance. Excited for this, too.

If I had $1750 sitting around the house i'd pay ours annually as well :) i hate having that monthly payment.

we save because of a multicar discount as well, because...we're not married yet :) USAA will give us a discount once september rolls around though. we also get a discount because we have our checking and savings, and both car loans through them.

They wouldn't let us merge insurance though unless we were engaged, so in actuality, they thought we've been engaged for 2 1/2 years...when in reality, it's only been 6 months lol.

We haven't taken engagement pictures yet :/ I know...i'm bad. We're going to do a engagement picture pre-session this weekend....as in...we need at least one formal picture for our invites lol!

I haven't found my flowers, haven't finished the center pieces, I need to find the boys shoes....book our hotel....OMG! i'm going insane lol.

We did register for scuba though! And they can fit us in during july/august...so we'll be certified come the honeymoon! Thank god, i was worried they would be completely booked up with classes. And I finally found my shoes, and my bra to go with my dress...those both were a hassle...I THOUGHT I had my veil...but I guess not :(

Nope, no florists, I found this nursery though near garland that had tiger lillies :) so i might look into them, we wont be having real flowers though, just my bouquet...and that's still a maybe...

I WAS still doing P90 lol....then FI got in that car wreck, and i stopped, then i picked it up a month later, was doing good and going steady, then i rolled my ankle on the treadmill (seriously, who does that? lol) and i picked it back up after a week of rest, ankle wasn't ready, so it's been another week now...and i'm hoping to start back up on monday :)
