What are you doing to get ready for your wedding? Or what did you do or are planning to do? Hair treatments? Skin treatments? How long? I need some ideas!
My advice would be to just keep up dilligently with your normal skincare routine--no skipping a night, no sleeping in your makeup, etc.
Two months before my wedding, I got a glycolic peel. Two weeks before my wedding, I cut out caffeine/carbonated beverages and as much salt and processed foods as possible.
On my wedding day, my skin looked the best it ever has.
I'm going to continue to do what I've been doing. I do a microderm abrasion scrub twice a week and a full body scrub 1-2 times a week. I wash my face twice a day and moisturize. My new favorite thing I've added to my routine is I use organic coconut oil on my skin before I moisturize. It has made a world of difference on my skin. I also use it on my face before bed and it's not greasy. It's good for sunburns and acne. I have been neglecting my hands and feet and will now get a mani, pedi monthly. I exercise 5-6 times per week and drink a gallon of water per day and eat pretty healthy, which makes a huge difference on skin as well.
I bought a good eye cream after the girl who did my makeup trial told me I looked a bit puffy. So glad she told me that or I would have never thought of it. I also bought this microdermabrasion kit from sephora that I use once a week and it has done wonders to my skin! I just wish I started it weeks ago because by the time the wedding is here I will only be through half of the kit.

would you mind telling me which kit from Sephora you are using? im looking into something like that and sephora sounds great!
Use a cold pack/mask the night before - I know that before a nervous event I can't sleep, and my eyes are puffy the next day!! And I hear cool cucumber slices help the day of, before makeup
I got a chemical peel about 3 weeks before the wedding, and it was great. My face looked awful for about 3 days afterwards, but was great by the wedding. Other than that, just drank tons of water and did my normal skin routine, which is pretty rigorous normally. I use the Clarisonic Mia every single night before I go to bed to make sure there is no leftover makeup.
im trying to grow out some blonde foils i had done in march.. the colour was horrible so i had a few more foils done on top which has really damaged my hair. hoping to grow out the colour and have as much new/healthy hair as possible so im taking GNCs hair, skin and nail vitamins, sea kelp and fish body oils. its been one month in ive already noticed a boost in hair growth. im also doing a hair conditioning treatment once a week.
apart from cleanse and moisturise daily, im also doing a face scrub once a week, moisturising mask and have added a toner to my routine.
since adding the mask/scrub/vitamins to my routine four weeks ago my skin is alot oilier (in a good way!) not sure which one of these is responsible, but anyway, skin has improved so im happy.
a friend of mine also told me to go on a detox to get a 'glow from within', she has been doing one for five weeks now and she looks amazing. so will definately do this when it comes closer to the wedding.
