Day of make-up

Are you using your every day, go to make up or are you buying special make up for your wedding day?

I'm probably going to use my every day stuff (Maybelline Dream Matte Mousse), along with the same mascara and concealer I use, just because it all works so well.  I'm probably going to buy eyeliner and eyeshadow, though, which I don't normally wear.

I'm testing things out until the day comes.  I want to make sure that I have a long-lasting foundation that doesn't cake - but has good coverage.  I'm trying out Make Up Forever HD Foundation, see if it feels too heavy.  I will definately make use of my many eyesshadow palletes though!

I am upgrading a lot of my makeup right now so I will be using it.  I use a lot of urban decay, Make up forever HD, and sephora stuff.

I want to look like myself that day and I need some better stuff.

Right now I use Bare Minerals, which I love but it reflects light so it looks funny in pictures (my face always looks shiny and way lighter than it should be in the pics).  I don't know yet if I'm going with a makeup artist or doing my own.  If I do my own I'll definitely get a consultation someplace like sephora or clinique, and then try out my new makeup for several days to make sure I like how it looks, both in person and in photos.

I am using different make up for our wedding day.  I love MakeUp forever stuff, but their foundation is usually a little too heavy for everyday for me, so I only use on special occasions (which, I think my wedding day qualifies for). 

For eyes, I'm not really using special make up per se for the wedding day, but I'll be using some of my good isht from Sephora that I usually save for nice occasions (see previous statement).

I normally wear maybelline eyeshadow but I bought the UD naked palette and a brand new brush set from sephora.  I also plan on using MUFE hd makeup and finishing powder, but I'm waiting to buy that because I don't really need to practice applying foundation.  Will probably just use the same eyeliner as usual (revlon), but waterproof.  I want to wear some blush, but I don't wear it on a daily basis so I'm not sure what I'm going to do for that.  I just started using a blush from maybelline and I like it so far but I never know if I'm putting on enough or not.

I use bare minerals and as lenergyrlah stated above, it doesn't photograph well. I think I'm getting it professionally done only because I don't have time to do it myself. My wedding is at 10 am and my hair appt is at 8 am so I really don't want to be doing my makeup at 7 am. I think I'm gonna have airbrush done. I need my makeup to last at least until 7 pm aftr my second photo shoot at sunset on the beach.
