More January GTG

Since TK is not bumping threads, I'm just going to make a new one.

The general consensus seems to be that January 20 or 21 is the best time for everyone.  So now, would we prefer to try to do dinner Friday night, lunch or something Saturday afternoon, or dinner Saturday night?

I would think Saturday during the day or evening would be best.  If we're going to try to schedule something in between Dallas and Ft. Worth, I don't want to fight Friday traffic.

Haha... I didn't realize the dates, but the nesties are having one on the 22nd (so it looks like!)

I vote Saturday. I see my trainer at 9am, and after getting home to get un-smelly, I can be anywhere by 12:30.

Fi's cousin is having a B-day party the evening of the 21st. FI will be OOT but I was considering going. I vote for afternoon...but it won't make me sad to miss the party either. 

I'm down for anything really. You ladies tell me!

The afternoon of the 21st would be awesome!!

Okay, so I was thinking the area around the Grapevine Mills Mall might be good and pretty central, right?

In that area there is:
Love and War in Texas (Texas cuisine)
Saltwater Willy's (seafood)
Cozymel's (Mexican)
And then a few restaurants inside the mall, but that might be a nightmare of crowds.

Or we could do downtown Grapevine.  There's a place there called Esparza's that I loooove.

Or we could do somewhere else.  If you want to come to downtown Plano, I have the perfect suggestion, but I know that would be a drive for a lot of you.

LOVE Esparzas!!!  Haven't been there in a long time but my brother and sister-in-law introduced it to us when they leaved near Grapevine Mills.  Their salsa is killer.

The afternoon of the 21st would be great for me. I'm near Addison so Plano would be better for me, actually. I'm glad to drive to Grapevine, though. It would give me a good excuse to do some shopping!

Esparza's is great! Another awesome place is Farina's on Main Street. They have a great patio (with heaters I think) if it was nice enough, otherwise, they have two private room we could get. Downside...they don't have liquor, I think it's only beer and wine.

Elidellio, we can carpool if you'd like.  Wendi is in Addison, too, so she might want to jump in if she's coming.
