The Sheraton Hotel in Arlington

Hey everyone

I was just wondering if anyone has any insight on the The Sheraton Hotel in Arlington.  I saw pictures of their room called the Plaza On The Hill and I totally fell in love. I definitely want to use this room for my reception!  I was wondering if  has anyone used it before or has gone to view it?   Also, is there an outdoor space that the hotel that would be nice for a ceremony?  I'm estimating about 100-125 guests.  Thanks for any info!

That is one of my top two venues that I am picking from. I love love love the plaza. It is absolutly beautiful! There is a small location outside of the plaza with a gazebo that can seat 100-120 I believe for the wedding.It over looks the water fountains. There is also a building called the yacht club that is big enough for a bridal shower.

 I think the food beverage min for a saturday was $6000 or $8000. There aren't any bathrooms in the building, but there is a building located a few yards away that are the bathrooms.

I would def. go in person. Walking up to it, you will fall in love.

I toured with Jill and loved her !

To be honest , when you look at other hotels you will always think of the plaza. It is so unique.

FI & I went to a wedding reception there a couple weeks ago. It was gorgeous! I think they had close to 200 people, but they did the ceremony in their church. I'm not much help, really. It's a beautiful place though if you can afford it.

It looks lovely.  I'm no help either except to say I got married at a hotel (the Melrose) where we had the ceremony outside (on the terrace) and the reception in the ballroom and I loved that set up.  It was elegant yet the ceremony had an intimate feel.  We had around 110 guests.  And the hotel does everything for you and you don't have to worry about anything--definitely helps with the stress!

When I was in high school, we had a our band reception there once. I thought the place looked beautiful. Only reason we didn't use it was because there is a lot of construction over there on 30 and we didn't want to deal with it. Although I think they are in the finishing stages.

Thank you guys so much!  It's encouraging to hear that everyone thinks it's beautiful.  I'm excited to hear about there being an outside area that might be big enough to use for the ceremony.  Thank you for all the input and info!

I researched 100's of venues online before we started actually visiting them. The moment I found Plaza on the Hill and I fell in Love! We are having our ceremony and rehersal there. Just walking in especially at nigh, it is breath takingly beautiful.

I highly suggest viviting it for your self you we love Jill she is a sweet heart

I just put a deposit down this past weekend for the Plaza. So excited. I it. I also toured with Jill, she's wonderful and will help in any way she can!

I am considering the plaza, do anyone have pictures how it looks the day of the wedding? I'm just worried about having the ceremony outside, hope it's enough room.
