[QUOTE]In Response to Re: FFF : Is June heat OK? If I had a wedding in any other month that was cold(er) no one would come - so something's gotta give. I wasn't about to give up an awesome venue just because I have to get married in the summer (due to 90% of the guests having school aged children and living far away)

I don't think so. I can't say that any heat is really okay..our date is June 18, and I am still really worried that our faces will melt off during pre-ceremony pictures and that out OOT guests will have heat stroke. Our New England guests (which compromises most of my OOT family) think that mid 80 temps are a heat wave, and judging by the projected temps for this weekend (all in the 90's) that is a bit much--and this is still May. Who knows what it will be like in 3 weeks. I guess what you're saying is that for you an awesome venue means more than your guests comfort. If you choose to go this route, please be sure to provide your guests with a 10 minute ceremony, handheld fans, and chilled bottled water.
To each their own. If you want to test it out, put on your Sunday best (with pantyhose) and sit in the heat tomorrow for 20 minutes and see how comfortable and attractive you are afterwards.
