Gift for parents

Looking for ideas for what to get our parents as a gift to give them at the rehersal dinner. would love to hear what other people gave their parents as a thank you. My parents are paying for the entire wedding minus the rehersal dinner so I would like to get them something really nice. I love hearing other people's ideas...

As part of their gift I'm giving the mothers embroidered handkerchiefs that say something like "tears of joy" and thank you, love Aperitisa, etc.  I think for the fathers we are going to give monogramed handkerchiefs.

I like the handkerchief idea. 

My mom loves body lotions and perfums, etc.  I think I'm giving her a TON of smelly stuff.  She will be overjoyed.  Additionally, she'll be given an album, etc.

FI's mom loves pictures - so, we're getting her a nice multi-photo picture frame with a myriad of pictures of us, etc.

We're still thinking of what to do for the dads.

I got my mom a ring with my finace and my birthstone in it, and I got my dad an engraved watch.

My mom and stepdad got a gift certificate to their favorite hotel, my dad got a gift card for Southwest Airlines, and my FIL and SMIL got a gift card to a restaurant they visit frequently.

It's just a gift.  Don't overthink it.
