Have you been to any weddings recently? If so, what did you like about them? Dislike?  Nope.  Although, I kind of hope to be invited to my ex's. 

A tv show you love:  Survivor

Your favorite sport to watch on tv:  Football?  Sometimes?

Your favorite sport to watch live:  Hockey

Who makes more money, you or FI/DH?  Unfortunately, it's me.  Which means I'll never be able to be a SAHM (I never thought I would want to be, which is why I pursued  a career, but now I feel stuck  )

Have you been to any weddings recently? Yep! Two recently and I already have two to attend over the summer. 

If so, what did you like about them? Dislike? Both of them had beautiful decorations, very simple and classy, both had fabulous food/drinks, but one of them had a terrible DJ. It was like he was on another planet, and he spent the whole time giving sports scores and complaining about how his team was losing. No one seemed pleased, and we didn't stay for long because of it. 

A tv show you love: Glee! So much so that I wish Sue Sylvester was real.

Your favorite sport to watch on tv: Baseball - it's more the strategy that I take pleasure in than anything.

Your favorite sport to watch live: Hm, ditto to baseball with football coming in second.

Who makes more money, you or FI/DH? My fiance, but not by much!

Have you been to any weddings recently? If so, what did you like about them? Dislike? This past weekend!  I loved a LOT about the wedding -- everything was very beautiful and tasteful.  The only thing I filed away not to do at my own wedding was spend too much time away from my fiance.  The bride and groom were barely next to each other all night.

Have you been to any weddings recently? If so, what did you like about them? Dislike? The last wedding we went to was in October. It was beautiful and in Newport, RI. Very expensive looking. But the layout of the tables and everything around us was horrible. No one paid attention to the bride and groom during their first dance. Also, it was freaking cold and it was an outdoor wedding. There was so much wind.

Depends on the season. Spring and summer, he does. Also depends on whether or not they let us work overtime, because then I do.

If so, what did you like about them? Dislike? Her dress was beautiful and her colors were as well (spring green and black)  Dislike: one of my biggest pet peeves: they did photos in between the ceremony and reception and left the guests sitting.  Nothing to do.  I mean nothing.  So...we left and didn't stay at all for the reception which irritated me, I wanted cake at least!

ETA- I missed the first question- Last wedding was about a year ago. It was small and awesome. I tried to steal some ideas but FI vetoed them. The only not so wonderful thing was that the bride's dress was not altered well, so it looked like it was going to fold over at the waist and expose her.. the whole ceremony. I learned that I should get a well fitting dress and that has enough support...

The other one was on the 4th of July /> the Red White and Bule theme was done very tastefully. My only dislike was that the ballroom was way too big for the number of people, and the sweetheart table was across the room (unapproachable and distant). Big Plus was that it was an afternoon wedding and reception that was over in time for guests to go watch the fireworks.

There are some of us that don't pay for that channel and have to wait for our FI/DH to download it from who knows where onto our TiVo.. or wait for the DVDs. That is a pretty big spoler though.

I'm too impatient to wait for a new episode. I watch when they come on dvd.

There was a clip in last season's opening montage where Sig turns slowly and looks at the camera from the captain's seat, and there is a green lighting due to nighttime from the camera...I loved that image and was so bummed that they changed the opener this season.

I also bought a shirt from the Discovery store with Sig's signature that says "Shut up & Fish!" I also bought DH a shirt that says "It's Good to be Captain" with the TIme Bandit on it.

I admit, we're Deadliest Catch dorks. And it's on tonight!

CA2MT, it's not a reality. The auditions are for people who want to join the cast. But aside from the singing (which yes, so good!), it's pretty much a normal sitcom set in a high school. I haven't followed it, but I've seen a few episodes and loved them.

A tv show you love: Primeval...it's a UK sci-fi show that's kind of like Sliders meets Land of the Lost...I started watching it for Andrew-Lee Potts (who plays Hatter in the Syfy version of Alice), but I think even if he weren't on it I'd be hooked!
Your favorite sport to watch on tv: that's a definite toss-up between football and hockey...but hockey edges out just a little because I like the fights lol

Elahenara, I Firefly! I was actually watching it at a friend's house earlier today...they haven't seen it yet but had watched Serenity last week...and my friend's DH is obsessed with Jewel Staite...so he started watching Firefly too
