Female grooms woman What does she wear?

My fiance wants to include his friend (a female) in our wedding party. I would like to put her with the groomsman since she is standing up for him. Does she wear the same dress as my bridesmaids?

She can if she wants to. I've also seen groomswomen pick out a dress that matches the GMs, like a black dress to go with their black tuxes.

Our groomswomen wore dresses similar in style to the bridesmaids but the same color as the colored shirts/ties the groomsmen were wearing. We also thought about having them wear dresses a similar color to the boy's suits, but they preferred the peachy color of the ties to the khaki color of the suits.

My friend's DH had his sister as his honor attendant. She wore the same dress as the BM's. No one was confused about why she was standing next to her brother, and it looked very nice.

I vote for the same dress as the BMs in either that color or in black (assuming black tuxes) so that its most consistent with the rest of the females within the WP.

I was the best woman in a wedding and wore a navy blue dress. The MOH wore a royal blue dress. As long as her attire comliments the wedding party, it really doesn't matter.

FI's GW said she would find a dress that is the same formality as FI's tux. I have no idea what she came up with, but I think it is long and black. As long as I have the better cleavage, we're all good.

filaw- I love the way the GWs look with a slightly different shade of the BMs dresses! That makes them stand out from the BMs but fit in with the WP. Nice choice!
