Appropriate for junior bridesmaid to walk with older groomsman?

I have 4 girls in my wedding party (2 bridesmaids, and 2 junior bridesmaids). Fiance has 4 groomsmen, all our age. Is it ok/appropriate for a junior bridesmaid to walk down the isle with someone older? (They are both 14, groomsmen are 22-25).

I know I could even decide to have the groomsmen stand at the alter and just the women walk down the isle, but I prefer the couples to walk down the isle together.

They are very mature for their age, if that helps

FWIW, I'd call the JRs just regular BMs.

I think it's fine.  If either they or their parents are uncomfortable with it, though, just have them walk side by side with a groomsman.

Ditto banana, they are definitely old enough to just have the title "bridesmaid."

I agree banana! I was in a wedding when I was 15 as a regular bridesmaid and it was totally fine. I walked down the aisle with a 27 year old and I had a great time!

You're overthinking this.  It's a very short walk down the aisle-nothing more.

 And I agree with banana.  Your two girls are doing exactly what a BM is doing:  wearing the dress, walking down the aisle, standing respectfully during the ceremony, and smiling for pictures.  They're not "junior" anythings.

It's a 20 second walk. It's not like they're legally bound to be each other's dates for the night.
