Downtown: Lai Wah Heen at the Metropolitan Hotel is FANTASTIC. It's been touted as one of the best Chinese restaurants in North America. But pricey.I like Bright Pearl too, also downtown in Chinatown, and it's not as expensive. If you're willing to travel out to the suburbs a bit, there are lots of great places in Markham and Richmond Hill which is basically where all the Chinese people live. Celestial Court and Golden Court are 2 that I know well, but honestly there are so many that are good. You can look up "markham dim sum" on chowhound.com for more suggestions.
