Family wedding within one month?

My cousin's wedding is 3 weeks after mine. We live in different states and are not close. Does anyone know about the rules about having a wedding within 30 days of another family member? Something like we're not supposed to attend each other's wedding and neither should our parents?

    Yes, I have definitely been told about the not attending each other's weddings including the parents. It's about not having two "lucky" events clashing.

    This seems like a case where you should just check with your parents, your cousin and your cousin's parents on what they're comfortable with.
