Hey ladies (since there is no Jewish Bump board, I'm posting here)
Thought everyone's collective brains might have an answer for this.
I know there have been a LOT women in the Torah who prayed to get pregnant, and I was looking to see if anyone has any prayers or pslams (in Hebrew or English) on fertility or anything along those lines
Whatever you have to share (or portions/lines that you know of) would be appreciated (we have a couple of copies of the Tanakh here at the house).
TIA!

I also have a word doc of poems and prayers that I collected into one place that I'd be more than happy to share with you, if you give me an email address.

We have been TTC for over 3 years and all the prayers in the world would not change the reason why I have not been able to get pregnant without IVF. IMHO, prayer is to help someone get through a challenging time, but will not cause someone to be fertile. GL to you.

Not sure what's going on, but my thoughts are with you. I was diagnoesed with PCOS when I was 18, so I was scared that I would never have children (at least not easily). My MOH/BFF gave me a book that helped me learn about myself and because of that knowledge I have had two wonderful blessings.
I try to tell myself that things are as they are for a reason, but heck if I know what that reason is! Please let me know if I can help with anything.

Thanks JG....
You know when you want something very much, so, naturally, it doesn't happen as easy as you hope -- but it is sort of out of your control? That's where we are. Still trying (somewhat from Jan-June, wholeheartedly from June-now). My bubbe recenly passed away and the rabbi told my mother that when someone goes to Gan Eden, thngs can happen. I'm a couple days late ... so we'll see.

Have you read Taking Charge of Your Fertility? That's the book my MOH gave me. It's so amazing what our body tells us that we don't listen to. I know myself so much better now.
Also, I'm so sorry about your Bubbe. My DH lost his GF the same week as your Bubbe. He loved my kids, especially my DD so, so much. I was glad I was able to bring her to his funeral. Babies make funerals better, I swear. Your Bubbe will surely give G-d a nudge and let him know you are ready for a blessing!
