@midgetthemighty - granted we have heard it because I'm stuck in in temp land with health insurance issues. We are paying a re-DONK-ulous amount of money (thankfully with help from my parents otherwise we could never afford it) for COBRA from my old job which I was laid off from right after we got engaged. So we are being told that so that I can have coverage at a cheaper cost. And his company has good benefits, which I will be on next year (well hopefully this year if I get hired, that is actually where I'm temping at - long story lol) so we are being told just get married so you can get on the benefits sooner...no thanks. That takes all the magic out of the wedding...it takes so much of the special out...
