Re: Bridal Bouquet pricing

  • I'm sorry I know I get defensive. I try to clarify if people misunderstand or it rubbed them the wrong way. I will definitely work on it and just stick to some wedding posts here and there so this doesn't happen again

Katelyn, this thread is pretty far down now, so you might not even see this, but I also wanted to add something. What bugs me about your posts sometimes is that you hardly ever back up your opinion with substantial reasons for feeling that way. For example, in the ceremony thread where you and I got into a discussion about Mass/non Mass wedding, I provided some pretty solid reasons why I didn't think Mass took anything away from the wedding itself; in your response you simply said you didn't like weddings with a Mass (which you had pretty much already stated in your first post). Well, that doesn't really do anything to validate your opinion. I asked you for some solid reasoning and you never came back to the thread. Having an opinion is fine...I mean, we all have opinions, but your opinion is only valid if you can and do explain why you feel that way.

It's also okay for someone to have a different opinion than you. In the David Tutera thread I just couldn't understand why you were getting so upset that people didn't like him--just because you do doesn't mean everyone has to. You like him; others don't...that's fine. It's okay to stand up for your opinion, but there's no reason to get upset or super defensive when people disagree with it.

That's the advice I would give you for improving the clarity of your posts so that maybe people don't interpret them the wrong way.
