I see an arguement forming between my mom, FI and I on reception venues. I think we should get approx pricing from venues, see if they are in our price range, then tour a few. FI doesn't want to drive around town looking at a ton of places that we can never afford. My mom thinks we should tour many, get their proprsals then narrow it down. Mom wants to come visit this weekend to tour some places. I could just scream. I have a list of all the venues around town (like 40)... Obviously I only want to tour about 3 or so. I need some serious narrowing down!! I'm feeling really stressed about this. The last 3 nights I intended on going over the pricing I have from about 7 places, but I didn't have time.
My dream venue was too expensive.
How did you guys do it? How did you narrow it down? How many venues did you go look at?
