[QUOTE]I'm sorry you feel this way! Women today really get bummed when all the media shows us are air brushed and digitally edited images of "perfect" women. Just remember, FI asked you to marry him becasue he loves you AS IS! I have to point out though, that your subject line isn't really fair!! Even skinny people have body image issues and feel "bummed" that they're not where they want to be. I'm 5'9" and a size 4 and I am VERY self concious in a bathing suit or any tight fitting revealing clothing. I wish I could be perfectly toned and shaped like an hour glass, but I have tried to accept myself as is. I struggle with the opposite issues that most women do - I have to eat EXTRA calories to keep weight on. I've been tested for thyroid disorders too but my drs have concluded that I just have a super fast metabolism. (I get it from my dad who is 6'2" 175) I get side-eyed and snarked at whenever I join into a conversation with women complaining about their weight because they just don't get it! I can't work out too much or I drop in weight and get asked if I eat or if I puke up my dinner. Its insulting. I agree about the Target swimsuits! I'm what one might consider "boy-ish" in that I'm not too curvy (bummer) but they don't even fit me right! I too have to buy larger bottoms than tops unless I want half my butt showing. I bought a Lucky swimsuit and it covers a lot more and fits much much better. I think I'll try a one piece out, my most uncomfortable region is the middle, so I always want to cover that up, and maybe that will solve the problem? I hate tankinis b/c they are not made for people with a long torso! Keep your head up, you will be a beautiful glowing bride no matter what size you are! =)

Wasn't trying to be "unfair" or rude towards anyone as I realize everyone has body issues on some level. However I'm more referring to everyone sayin you should be in the best shape of your life, openly saying you're too fat, etc. I sympathize with everyone having their own issues It's just hard to be an "overweight" bride sometimes.
