Re: Questions w/ PIP

  • Are you inviting kids to your wedding?
Yes, we love kids and they are part of the family too!

How much left do you have to do?
All of the major things are done, just need to finalize some of the last minute details.

Is your wedding turning out to be exactly what you thought it would? [ie: same style you thought it would be, same number of guests you originally wanted etcetc]
Yes!  The style, colors, etc. are exactly how I had pictured it.  Our guest list though, has grown!  We wanted to invite no more than 200 guests and we are finalized at 233.

Has wedding planning been stressful for you?
Honestly, no!  I really enjoy every aspect of wedding planning!  I am constantly looking at wedding photos online and obsessing over details.  I have a lot of fun with it!
  • Are you inviting kids to your wedding?
Yes, I have FI and I have 4 neices under 14 y/o.  Plus, a few guests will be bringing children.  Maybe 20 kids from 1-14.

How much left do you have to do?
Feels like a bunch!  Talking to pastor next month to see if he will officiate (sp?).  Still need to find a DJ, get music for ceremony, print inviitations, find wedding bands,  make programs, favors.  Mostly little stuff, but time-consuming stuff.

Yeah, pretty much.  I wasn't expecting on inviting nearly 200 people, but I have a large extended family and I'm close to the people I work with (teachers) and go to church with.  My reception is in the place I wanted.  I never thought I'd wear a strapless dress, but it's what I loved.

Not too much yet.  The worst was finding a photographer that I could afford.  My MOH's niece is a photography student that I can afford.  However, she hasn't done a wedding so I'm nervous about that.  I know another photography student that HAS done weddings, but I've not talked to her yet.  I'm hoping she'll be free and can take some pictures as well.
