How many children do you want to have (if you don't already have children)?
At what age do you want to start having children?
If you had a child right now, what would you name him or her? (List a boy & girl name)

I want 3, FI wants 2

I will be 35 next year so I would like to start by next year, if not by Christmas this year

Boy: FI wants Denzel (after his grandpa), I only want Tony after my uncle for the middle name...
Girl: I would like Ashley or Abby, middle name Lucia after my great-grandmother

I am kinda worried that twins are in my family and I am next in line. I want kids just not all at the same time... lol

Not three. I figure we'll discuss it pretty thoroughly each time and stop when we feel like stopping, but I'm adamant that we will not have 3 children, for various reasons.

I want to start before I'm 30 (at this rate, probably 29); we have agreed to wait at least 2 years, probably 3 after we're married, before we start trying!

MY names list includes Aedric or Carter for a boy; Caprice or Gisela for a girl! No idea what he likes, he won't discuss it yet. He better be pretty easygoing on that though, if he's not willing to have an opinion now

We want 2. I'll consider having a 3rd after we see how #1 and #2 go.

I'm turning 25 in May (my bachelorette party is combined with my 25th bday party--that weekend is going to be AWESOME!!) I don't know if there's a certain age we want to start having kids, it's more of a thing where we want to have certain things done before we have kids. We have a "cradle list" (like a bucket list, but things to do before you have kids) so we want to go to Europe, own a home, have stable careers, ect. I'm guessing I'll be around 30 when we start.

Girl Names: Eleanor, Charlotte

Boy Names: Harrison, Logan

Girl: Camryn Grace (named after my paternal grandparents with whom I was very close)

Boy: ______ Arthur (no idea for the first name, probably something with "Cam" or "David" since those are family names on my side & middle name is passed down for boys on FI's side)

I would like 4, Chad isn't sure we can afford that many. We compromised at 3, for now.

I wanted to have my first by 24 (My mom was young and I want to be a young mom also.) but I will be 27 if everything goes to plan. We are hoping to have a HM baby.

Girl names in no particular order: Hilde (pronounced Hildie), Kendall Anne, Ella, Evelyn, Vivian, and that is all I can remember off the top of my head.

Boy names: Odin. We haven't looked into boy names much yet.

I hope we have a boy first, FI wants a boy really bad.

I am hoping it will break him easy, haha.

We would like 2 or 3. Names: Andrew Ryan for a boy, Audrina Rae for a girl. I also liked Landon James for a boy but FI isn't too crazy about that name...yet!

2, FI is a twin so if we have twins first I don't know if we would have more. I would say yes but FI is up in the air.

Twins are actually determined by the mother, not the father; either your body is predisposed to release more than one egg per cycle, or you have a genetic likelihood of your eggs splitting after fertilization (or both!). Obviously both of these sometimes happen at random, but as far as having an increased chance, the dad being a twin doesn't make you more likely! I don't know if this comes as a relief or a disappointment to you (and sorry if it does) but it's the truth.

I would like to have one before I turn 30, which means I'll hopefully be 29 when we have our first. I'll be 27 when we get married (FI will be 28), which means we'd wait a little over a year before trying. I like the names Adelyn and Brynn for girls and Luke for a boy. FI is a III, so I'm letting him decide if he wants a IV if we have a boy.

We'll either have 2 or 4. FI really wants a large family, but we want to see how y pregnancy and deliveries go. After 2, if we have a 3rd, we'll have a 4th because I don't want an odd number of kids. My m was in labor with me for 24 hours and for 12 with my brother (after being induced) so we'll just see. We're planning on starting to try around or a little before our 2 year wedding anniversary. I'll be 26 and FI will be 28. I also told him that I want laser hair removal before I get pregnant. I don't want to have to worry about being all hairy and it'll save so much time when we have babies. Names: Boy- Charles Maximillan (will go by Charlie) Andrew Blount (will go by Blount) *all family names

I think it's so special to have/be a 4th! A friend just ha a baby and his son's a IV and they're calling him Teague. I love it!!

We both want 2 kids. We want a year of kid-free marriage. That doesn't mean we will wait a year to start trying, but it also depends on if/when I get a teaching job. I would hate to start a school year with someone else running my classroom.

As for names.....FI has always loved Rylee Marie (Marie after his grandma) for a girl. We wanted Logan James (James after my dad) but very good friends of ours had a baby a few weeks ago and they chose Logan James. We're back to the drawing board on the boys name.

Some professions make it so difficult to pick a name (like a teacher....or my friend that just had hers is a corrections counselor in a jail).

We want 2-3. We are planning on waiting at least a year to try to get pregnant, but we'll see how that goes(most of my cousins have gotten preganant soon after getting married),

Girl Names: I really like Mary Claire (I am dropping my first name -claire- when we get married and it's also my mom's name) and Riley Grace

Boys: Owen Beaux and Ezekiel Prescot (I told FI those are snotty names lol)

My friends all say that if you've gotten as far as a III, you have to go for IV, haha. I've told him that it's up to him--I'm good either way.

I agree with everything in red! I have a "will not name" list. I figure I've yelled those names too many times already so I won't name a child that name! I'd love to have a baby in April (of some year) so I can work up until then and have 4 months at home with baby before going back to work as a teacher in August.

I'm already 36 so I'll be happy with two instead of the four I used to want. (I told my mom when I was 7 that I wanted 2 girls and two boys becaues a girl needs a sister and a boy needs a brother! LOL) I'd like to start trying around Christmas, but FI says 1 year from June (at least). I'd like to have a year living together first, but can't afford to wait too long due to my age. I keep telling him I don't want to have to have a science experement! He's just now coming around to the idea of kids---he's never been around them much. I'd like to be done by 40 so twins would be great. Lucille Moriah (w/ an o) and William Thomas are my picks for names (after my parents). We both think that B/G twins would be awesome. I'd rather do that than have 2 babies back to back like my brother and his ex did---my nieces were 11 1/2 months and 12 1/2 months apart! 1st nieces turned 2 y/o 4 DAYS AFTER #3 was born!
