Hi! My FI and I just recently set the date and it will be June 2, 2012 in the Cincinnati area (where we both live and I grew up). It has been a big process getting things in order as I am getting ready to go back to grad school in the fall while working my full time job. So it was nice to see early planners on this board
To be honest I wanted to elope but FI really wanted a bigger wedding. So I am hoping the planning goes smoothly. We are both rather low key and want to keep things simple.
I look forward to any of the advice you can offer.
