We close on our new house on Thursday, so we have some major shopping to do this weekend so we're ready to set up house next Friday.

We are doing our gift registry at Macy's and BBB on saturday then going over to Cheesecake factory for dinner and Red Velvet Cheesecake. Sunday I am going to bridal show with my BM's.

One of our groomsmen is getting married this weekend so I'm looking forward to that.

Hey lovelies! This weekend I'm doing alot.  Tonight the hubby and I have to hit Ikea and American Signature Home Furniture. Tomorrow its Rooms To Go (a sister is terrible w/ decorating), Target and BBB.  Sunday we have a wedding reception to go to. While he's getting a break to watch football tomorrow, I have to go and close down my personal checking account I had before him.  That's gonna be tough.  Everything is changing for me and it seems like nothing is changing for him.  These are the times when I get a lil' surly, LoL.  Congrats Spim on the house!  MIA, girl! We LOVE the red velvet cheesecake. Enjoy! Cicy, sounds like a fun weekend :-)

hey er'body!!!...looks like everyone has some great plans this weekend.  I've gotta get up early tomorrow (this is a huge thing cuz I'm a night owl and do not move around until about 11 or so on Saturdays...LOL!) to take Ms Pepper (our yorkie) to get groomed & then she goes to the vet; after that I'm taking her to PetCo to run around and have 10 mins of fun while I find her something new to play with...later in the afternoon I'll hang out with our boys & get them some stuff for weather since the season has finally changed here in Dallas.  Sunday I'm going to a fab brunch with my book club to discuss the book "PUSH" by Sapphire and we'll also come up with plans to go see the movie based on the book, "PRECIOUS", for next month...so yeah that's alot of ish to do in one weekend!

SPIM - congrats on your house closing!!!...y'all are going to have tons of fun getting it ready & the holidays are coming up soon, so that's even more exciting! MIABRIDE - please have an extra bite of Red Velvet Cheesecake for me cuz I sho' would love some...LOL!...let us know how the bridal show turned out!  MISSEVANS - can I go with you & DH instead?!...I love shopping at Ikea and Rooms to Go; you'll find that as a wife there's alot you gotta do and DH just chills on the side...LOL!

I'm a National Officer for my sorority and I'm over our new groups, so I'm taking my first trip to Carbondale, IL (Southern Illinois U) to visit with our group there on Saturday...I'm leaving for Dallas tonight to catch my flight and I'll be back home Monday.

So glad that everyone has something productive to do this weekend. I am just studying! :-( But I may sneak to Old Time Pottery tomorrow for some more gold Chargers (I am getting them a little at a time). Oh yes, we are out of school on Monday and Tuesday for our Fall Break and I think My Honey is taking me to the State fair in Raleigh on Monday! YAYYY!!!!! Turkey Leg, Cotton Candy, and Candy Apple here I come! LOL!

I have a fundraiser banquet on Sunday (after all the preps, i am so glad it's about to be over but on a good note, we've raised above the goal so i guess i am kind of looking forward to that) FI's brother in NY city is baptizing his daughter so i am driving up tomorrow for that (So not looking forward to that drive)Wedding related? tonight I will be cutting the STDs. Again! Seems like it's taking forever (definetly NOT looking forward to that)

Well tonight sucks because I am at work now so I gotta work til midnight UGGGGGGHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!Tomorrow, FI and I are going to see if we can stalk Hobby Lobby and find that cake stand while it is still 50% off everything bridal. Who knows what else we can find in there.Sunday, I am meeting with sistah knottie Cicy!! Doing all things wedding!! and when I get back, FI and I can take a look at that video demo from the videographer the WP found for us.Everyone seems to have a packed weekend, Missevans I live up the street from the Ikea they built here and I haven't been there yet but I have been looking at that catalog on our coffee table and see some stuff I will be getting before the holidays.

Tomorrow going to order the bm's dresses, then to the venue to put some more $$ down (thats a drag) and sunday engagement photos. Ya'll sound like your going to have some fun.

Wow!  You ladies have an exciting weekend planned.  Alf: I love your dog's name...so cute. Mycicy:  Looking forward to meeting you today.  You cracked me up with "Can we register at a bank?"  Too funny. My plans:  Sat. Hanging out with the fabulous mycicybride at rock and shop Sun.: Having brunch with my BM and old college buddy visiting from ATL.  After that I may go to an arts event at my job.  They are featuring the work of Peter Gibson, a street artist from Montreal and our client's art work (we have an arts based day program for adults with developmental disabilities).  They're also going to have vendors, break dancers, a live band.  It should be fun.
