Wanted to share

So this morning I came in and took a look at my check. I was BUMMED. after the bills are paid and we get stuff needed for the kid, we dont have much. 
then I listened to this call where this lady is in preforeclosure. Her husband is out of work in California and she doesnt know when she can come up with the 24 thousand needed to get her loan caught up.  It put my little problem into perspective.. ITS LITTLE.  People in the world right now are going through bigger things than "not being able to do as much shopping as they want"  here i am bummed cause i cant do all of my Christmas shopping in one weekend and there are people that wont have a Christmas. There are people that might not have a HOME come Christmas time. 
Sometimes we get sooo caught up in our little problems that we forget the big picture. I am blessed. My bills are paid, my son is well taken care of, and he doesnt want for ANYTHING (except hotdogs cause we ran out last night) I am in a loving healthy relationship, and I have an amazing family. 
I just wanted to share cause sometimes we need a little reminder of how BLESSED we truley are.

You're right! I was frustrated this morning because of a FMIL issue, but I realized I am stressing myself out over the little stuff, but there is somebody somewhere going through something way more difficult than me. I feel so selfish! Thank you for posting this.

Dont feel selfish.. its human nature to feel like we do sometimes.  the thing that makes you NOT selfish is that you recognize it and fix it.  I felt so bad after hearing that call.  it made me see all i did have.  Sometimes we need that.
