Chair covers and sashes
So I have budgeted to rent chair covers and sashes. With the company I plan to order them from they will set up the chairs and take down. each cover and sash cost 3.25 per chair and Im getting a 50 off discount. Ive been wondering if its cheaper to buy them and then resale. My venue is allowing us to come in night before to set up if there is no event going on or as early as 7am to set up. WWYD ?

Edited : When we looked up the price to buy it was average $2 per chair cover and $7.99 for 10 sashes. It ended up being cheaper to rent.

If you buy them, you or a designated person will have to worry about pulling them up after the reception is over, and if you're wanting to resale you're gonna have to keep them clean or as clean as you can. And I don't know if you have kids at the wedding or not, but that's something to think about. FI and I discussed this and we decided to rent and have them setup and breakdown so we don't have to worry. Ours are $2 per chair for organza sashes or $3 per chair for satin. HTH.

SUPER CHEAP. the sashes are $.25 and the chair covers are $.50. They send them out a week before your wedding but you will have to set them up yourself. Also it comes with a prepaid return box for you to send them back. I ordered 220 black satin sashes and only paid $88. Cant beat that. Also, you pay through paypal and so just in case something happens to go wrong, you can get your money back. Cant beat that.
So setting them up will not be a problem. Either Im setting them up or letting the venue do it for $75. That price for rental is better than buying.
However, I am buying the chair covers and then reselling because of the type of chairs my venue has, the chair covers on that site dont have them. Saving money where you can is the best way to go lol

Me too. My venue was charging me $4 for chair covers and sashes and even when I looked at other rental companies, I would have been paying that amount after set up delivery etc. I needed 220 so think how much that would have cost me smh
My shipping was $30 but thats for getting and sending them back so I figure that $15 each way. They gives a big discount on shipping if you spend a certain amount...I think you have to spend 100 or 50 or something. dont remeber what they said.
