question about favors....

Since I moved my wedding from October to June I am having the hardest time thinking of what to give as favors. I was going to do the whole caramel apple thing before, but now that we are getting married in june I am at a total loss.  What are you doing, sugesstions please.........

    My wedding is this June and we are using fans and chocolate as our main favors.  I have paddle fans with my programs attached to them with ribbon and we also have the pocket folded fans engraved with our names and date of wedding to give out as favors at the wedding (paddle fans) and reception (keepsake pocket fans).  I also ordered extra and gave as gifts to those who attended my bridal shower.

    In addition to this we are giving boxes of hershey kisses chocolates in our wedding colors and stickers with names and dates which will be at each place setting during the reception.

    In gift boxes we are giving each guest who stays at the hotel a champagne favor with our wedding date and a box of chocolate cordials to enjoy the evening before the wedding.

    Because it is hot in Florida we will have bottles of water with personalized labels on hand for our guest delivered to their hotel rooms and also available before the ceremony for those who choose to stroll along the beach.

    Last but not least I have heart shaped bubbles in our wedding color and lavender sachet bags, personalized bookmarks, and I am sure I am missing something. 

    Yes I went overboard with the favors but oh well.  LOL, everything was so cute, I couldn't resist.

    For our parents they will also be presented with embroidered hankies that have their initials on them to wipe away their tears of joy.

    I did buy cookie cutters in a variety of sizes for guest to take home but will not be using them :-).

    You can give whatever you want to be honest, even the candy apples as a nice summer treat.  Which actually sounds delicious and sweet.  I tried to choose options that the guest would find useful in the hot June weather on the beach in as many ways we could say thank you as possible.

    We're doing doughnuts. National Doughnut Day occurs during our wedding weekend and I've NEVER met someone that hates Krispy Kerme doughnuts.

    It's either going to be a wine bottle stopper or an old-school mix cd (my FI is a DJ)...  :)

    LOL, I guess it would help. Our colors are tiffany blue and brown!! No theme yet anyways!!

    The pocket fans in the Knot shop will fit nice with you colors we had them personalized and all the ladies at the bridal shower thus far loved them so I am sure they will be a hit at the wedding as well especially in the Florida heat in June.
