Hello Ladies,
Im sorry Im almost two weeks late on giving you all a recap of the big day but I literally went into wedding shut down. I didnt want to watch a show, answer questions about the big day or anything. Im still in that vibe but wanted to give you all an update.
The day before the rehearsal went well except when my dad and I approached DH and he was going to give me away my dad was telling him some things that moved me to tears. (Such a cry baby) I didnt sleep much that night and woke up early for my hair appointment.
After that I checked into the hotel. Everything went soothly up until I needed to put my earrings on and realized that it was missing. At that point I couldnt do anything and shrugged it off. All the girls were like I need earring but I couldnt care at that point. If I didnt have it then no need to fuss about it. Arrived early to the church and actually ended up waiting for some guests to come to begin. Granted it was about 35 minutes from where a majority of them stayed so I couldnt be too upset.
As I walked and saw DH through the crowd I realized that I couldnt look at him cause I would cry too much. Tears streamed down my face as I walked down the aisle. When I spoke with DH afterwards he said that he couldnt watch me walk down the aisle either cause he knew he would cry as well. The ceremony was perfect and everything happened according to the program.
We had a great time taking pics after the ceremony. The reception was a blast as well. The only hiccup was the best man, DH's brother, decided to slip up and say S**T twice in his speech. I just dropped my head; DH did as well. We couldnt believe it. Other than that the rest of the night went beautifully.
Married life for these past two weeks has been wonderful. People ask me what has changed and my answer for the most part is security. I feel more secure and I see myself falling in love more and more each day.
