in African American Weddings
How much involvement do you have in the planning for your shower ? Are you giving input on what you want as far as decor and food ? Are you giving total control to the person planning it do whatever ? My MOH keeps calling and asking me tell her what I want ?! Im like do whatever. She asks me to look things up online. And whatever I like she said let her know and she'll go from there . I dont want it to seem like im helping plan my own my shower.

    lol i totally understand where you're coming from. For me I did want a very specific menu so I did tell my MOH my menu. Other than that I just let them do whatever

    My sister/MOH is planning my shower. I honestly couldn't tell you what she's up to because she hasn't mentioned anything to me. I HAVE been dropping hints for her to join/follow me on Pinterest. I don't want any involvement in the planning process, but do know that what I want.

    I have absolutely no say so in my shower or bachelorette party. My girls has completely took over. All they told me is the dated, where its located and what color to wear.

    My MOH just wnated to know what I did not want and gave me 5 mins to list some ideas. We came up with the date together and Ive helped her locate the venue as its in my hometown, but thats it.

    Im just like do whatever. My MOH knows how I am and know that im picky about things. But im like go ahead and do whatever. Ima let you have at it. I did suggest some places to look into to have it at and my menu but other than that i told her im taking the back seat on this one.
