Pray for my FI (kind of long)

My poor FI has soooo much stress on him. Well let me start from where I came into his life. When I met him he told me he had two kids 15 and 9 at the time. We live in the same city as his daughter but his son moved to Houston after his family lost everything in Katrina. Welllll his son's mother got on some huge trip about what we don't know but she wouldn't allow FI to talk to his son via the phone. If she found out they were on the phone together she would make her son hang up. The son can only talk to FI's mom and that's it. FI and his son communicate via FB. His son informed him that his mom told him that FI wasn't paying child support or anything and he was mad about that. Well FI sent him proof that support comes out for him and his sister. So the son confronted his mom and asked her why she lied...fastforward...the baby momma decided she wanted an increase in child support so she sent the court in New Orleans some crap about her only make $1,000 A YEAR and that she needed more help...gag me...so the stupid court approved it for 6 MONTHS because his son turned 18 in Feb but child support is paid until they graduate high school. Well the child graduated but the mom SENT NOTHING TO HIS FAMILY IN LOUISIANA to tell them. Me and FI found out when the graduation was because I called the school and acted like someone's cousin and they told me everything. So I told FI let's just go and he was like no he didnt want any crap at his son's graduation. Well today FI and his son talked about the graduation and FI told him why no one was there...NO INVITATION NO INFORMATION from them at all. Well at the end of it all the son didnt believe FI and told him he wanted nothing to do with him anymore. FI is really upset because that is not his character at all. He told me to scratch his son off out of anything for the wedding...I feel so bad and don't know what to do.....

Oh no Casey i am so sorry to hear that. He sounds like a really good dad and the BM is trying to make him out to be a deadbeat! It seems the BM has now brainwashed the son but don't worry whats done in the dark WILL come to light! It may take a while before he can understand but I do hope he chooses to keep the relationship with his dad.

I agree with pp.. These situations are soooo sickening to me! The baby mama need to move the hell on!!!! Trust this has nothing to do with the son and EVERYTHING with your FI! I will pray God softens her heart. Tell bad not to give up and to keep fighting, things will work out in the end.

FI and you will be in my prayers. It's a shame when people put the kids in the middle of their mess. Sorry that he (and you) and his son have to live with such deceipt. I wouldn't write FI's son off just yet because it's a situation that you can't reverse later...

Omg sorry he is going through this!!!! I'm not against slapping stupid chicks like her. Just call me I'll inbox my number!!!! LOL! She is so wrong for lying to her son and acting like a child. In the end hopefully his son will see the truth. I have 2 kids from other men I refuse to act like a ghetto baby momma with them.

@MrsBoss2012 she has brainwashed him and been caught in all kinds of lies. After reading what my FI received I didn't know what to say. I felt really  bad for him and the situation.

@MissusD1116 Thanks I am trying to tell bae to keep his head up.....as of late he has a Eff it attitude.

@mejai I haven't met his son due to the situation with his mom. Bae said he told his son about me and my daughters so thats as far as the relationship goes. FI's son is the one that has written us off and FI has stated that when he wants to come around he will.....

I pray that it all works out! and how CHILDISH! There are so many women out here who got the RAW end of a bad deal! To treat someone like total crap when they're ready and  WILLING to take care of their responsibilities is just completely ignorant. I'll pray for her too. lol. On another note, I don't know you that well but I'm glad to see you're back and hanging in there

THIS!! Yes she is wrong but his son just sent a message saying he sent an invitation to FI's mom's house...now she is all booted up cussing and fussing....ALLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL of New Orleans has come out of her tonight

I dont cut up with my youngest daughters father he's just STUPID...my oldest daughters dad is deceased so I have to deal with grandma drama...I love that woman to pieces but I be wanting to choke her thru the phone

Yeah I decided not to leave...I haven't been on here long but I miss talking to you all.....plus we are just up in the air about our wedding....I keep pushing for a smaller wedding and crap he wants me to have a fairytale wedding of my dreams...le sigh I love him but right nah we aren't seeing eye to eye on this wedding sha...not at all

At this point he's pushing for a wedding of that caliber more than me...nucca went and got a second freaking job...I JUST FOUND OUT LIKE 2 MINUTES AGO....LAWD...

I will talk to him about trying to involve his son, its just that they both have to want it  Thanks!

I dont know where anyone stands right now because FI's mom called the son last night and went smooth left....she was sooooo mad you couldnt even understand her....poor thing all of New Orleans came out of her last night...me and bae didn't know what to say to her....we were so quiet we got cussed out for being quiet LMAO!! Bae just shook his head and said I told you long time ago Sharon is cray huh...wasnt no way in hell I was confirming that conversation in her presence....
