Dancing At The Reception

I was over here on youtube and I saw this

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mTg5V2oA_hY

It wasn't my first time seeing it but it's been a while and so, I'm just like "Wow..", like, they were getting it back then. First off, it made me sad to see how far we've fallen. THIS is dancing, THAT is what it's suppose to be, not no p**sy poppin on a hand stand (I mean, if you can, great, cuz I know that takes mad skills too and your man probably isn't complaining but I'm just sayinFoot in mouth)

So I was missing the days of old but then it got me thinking- what if we could do something like that at our reception? Of course it wouldn't be that specifically, child, no. I can see so many ways how that would go wrong but, I know there are people in the world that take dancing lessons for their first dance or make up some cute choreography to do in the middle of their first dance etc so I was thinking (with my retro theme and all) if papi and I took swing dancing classes and whether it be for our first dance or in the middle of the reception, you break out a lil something like this? I think it'd be fun personally although my retro themed wedding is starting to encompass more decades than I had originally planned lol.

What do you guys think? Anybody else doing something special for the dancing segment of their reception? It could be something as simple as doing the bounce in the middle of your first dance (I know you wouldn't but I'm just saying lol)

I say GO FOR IT! It is your day and I love it...that youtube video...took me instantly to a happy place...lol

Seriously, FI and I are both dancers as well...my future SIL always joke that if we have a baby it's gonna come out the womb doing The Dougie so....I know for certain our reception will jukin and no...no filthy stuff...but I really want us to Tango for our first dance. Its one dance, I haven't learned (yet).
And my son is a phenomenal dancer...he does the worm, splits...lmbo....I totally love the idea...and I think you and hubby would be great. It doesn't have to be to this level of "extremity" but a toned down style...would be cute and distinct!
