Who wondered about bachelorette party guest list?

Mine's looking like the invite list will only be 7.  I feel lame.  At the same time, I think it'll be easier for MOH to deal with??  I mean I could invite more people, but I'm worried it'll be tricky for her logistically the larger the group is.

Don't feel lame! Mine's looking like it will be 6 plus me, and I'm actually really excited fro a small gathering... we can travel together and I'll get to spend time with all of them more so than with a bigger group.

Don't feel lame!  I say smaller is better for the bach.  I'm crossing my fingers that we can use my BM's Chelan house for the weekend for mine... in which case, mine will probably be tiny!

We'll definitely be under 10 - probably 8-ish.  I think that's perfect, and you're right, at some point it becomes logistically prohibitive, unless you're renting transportation (which we're NOT doing).

Mine is about that as well.  I don't have that many gal pals and 3 of my 5 BMs are OOO and probably won't be able to attend. I was feeling lame too but good to know that 5-10 is typical!!

I don't think 7 is a lame number at all. I am going with under ten, I think it will be more fun if it is just a small group of girls that you are really close to.

Jenny - DO IT!  If you can, of course, but that would be fun!  You should totally go for that!  No worries about driving/transportation/cops, etc.  Just make sure you DON'T dare each other to jump into the lake drunk....BRRRR!

KST - I did consider inviting my fellow knotties but then I realized that list would require rental of a BUS.  Not sure how keen MOH is on the idea of tracking one down.  Although a party bus could work, especially one with a strip pole.  Heck, could even hire a stripper, but rather than have her strip she could give a lesson on pole dancing! HA!

Thanks, ladies!  I'm feeling a bit better.  Two of the people are actually GFs of FI's friends who I sort of know, but not TOO well.  Since my bachelorette party looks like it's going to coincide with FI's Bachelor weekend, I figured while the boys are away, the girls can play!

I think we'll have 7 too! We'll probably have more people at a dinner but then it will probably be just me and my bridesmaids.

I think 7 is perfect! The more girls there are, the more likely there will be drama, and it just gets too difficult to plan around that many girls. So I say, the smaller the better!

SO NOT LAME. I will have 6 or 7 too, and we'll be staying at a cabin for a getaway weekend, so it's the perfect size.  You'll be glad that it's smaller. Allows you to really connect with the people who attend.
