Ok So I Waxed it ALL Off

Ok ladies, I took the Brazilian plunge for this Mexico trip I'm getting ready to go on.  That first wax strip was like OMGEE!  LOL But I followed your advice and took two excedrine migraines 30 mnutes before. This might be TMI but I feel free as a bird, it's liberating!  Anywho, that spa lady was all up in my business, spreading stuff and moving stuff to make sure she got ALL the hair.  (Yall failed to mention that to me, lol and I wasn't ready).  But she kept me talking and made me feel really comfortable.  Halfway through she was like,
'I need you to hold this part and lift your leg." She told me, "I know it might seem weird," and I was like, "no ma'am, you've seen everything now, we're best friends!" LOL.  Anywho, just had to let you ladies know how it went.  Thanks!

Glad it went well.  I know what you mean, the first time I went, I was thinking ok this is the most awkward thing I've ever done but like you said afterwards, it feels so much better.  I only go to my same lady to get it done.  If she's not there, then its not happenin, I don't want everyone and they mom all in my business  Wink

LOL..... I've been wanting to do this, maybe I'll get it done next month for my bday.  But I've been wondering how much does a brazilian wax usually cost?

I go to my mom's aesthetician friend so she charges me $35. I go every 3 weeks for the touch up.  When I first started dating my husband (giggles), she told my mom that I came to get a Brazilian and I wanted to die.  LOL  Mom and I are close, but she didn't need to know that tidbit about me.

Question ladies...what's the wax like. I mean are they double dipping? Do they make fresh wax for you? I don't want to use the same wax someone else used.

</div><div>The place I went to had the wax in one of those things like when you go to the nail shop. She used a new stick for every wax. I made sure to ask her about the double dipping and stuff. I also asked around about different spas because I wanted to try a place that others had been to and could vouch for especially when it came to the sanitary stuff.

Mine was $45 which I though was fairly reasonable.  The price will definitely vary depending on where you live though.
