Communion cermony?

Hi we met with the Videographer yesterday and he asked were we doing a communion - I hadn't thought about it- but now I'm wondering if I should and how does it work- are the guest served or is it just FI an I? if it's just FI and I is it rude ? is anyone doing this and can you shed light on it- Thanks much

I'm planning on doing a communion ceremony so that we are taking our first communion together at that time. It is just you and FI during the ceremony and no its not rude, they will understand.

We are doing communion. Our pastor explained that it is the first act we are doing as husband and wife. I was sold.

This makes me feel better, I have never seen this done in a wedding.

I've thought about it and heard many thoughts on it, such as offering to the guests of not. We have not made a final decision on it, so I have it in the timeline just in case.

I've seen it done at a Catholic wedding and then the guests took communion since it was mass. I have seen it done at other non catholic ceremonies and it was just the couple. I didn't think it was rude. We plan to do it with just us.

We are doing it as well..Our first communion as husband and wife. I've only seen the guest incorporated in the communion ceremony at a catholic wedding. It's your personal choice and it's such a special moment..

I know I am late but my sis and her husband did it and also the congregation took it as well! We are definitely doing it!
