...which is the date you consider your wedding anniversary?

I think we'll probably celebrate the ceremony date, mostly because we were planning the ceremony and picked the date for that before we thought we'd be able to afford traveling to elope.  So getting the legal papers in order just feels like an extension of the wedding festivities. 

How about you all?  Which do/will you celebrate?

We sort of eloped out of state.  (We had guests, but only about a dozen of them.)  But we just had a reception, not another ceremony, back home.  We consider the ceremony date our anniversary.

That was a discussion we had prior to our elopement as well. In the end we decided on the ceremony we'd been planning as the actual date.
