There are some sick people in this world...

Today, I was watching the midday news, & this is the story that comes on as the Top Story.

This town is literally 15 minutes away from me. They are my high school's rivals. This literally disgusts me. I had no idea any of this was going on or had been at all. I know a lot of people who go to that school or have graduated in recent years. I'm sure I actually know some of the girls who were/are involved. All of the charges againsts this pervert are just...awful. I'm so disgusted right now, it's unreal.

Anyways, please say a prayer for these poor girls, their families, and this entire school system.

    As a teacher, I always hate hearing these stories because I know how much I love and cherish my students and could not imagine anyone hurting them in that way and breaking that trust built between a teacher and their student... prayers for healing and strong influences to show them how to trust again!

    Yes, recently it came out that a middle school teacher from my old school is being investigated for child pornography (I didn't have him). Crazy. Sad.

    agree. I love the kids I work with and would never think of doing something like this. prayers for them.

    This story is now on the front page of the MSN website. I'm so horrified that things like this are what small-town Oklahoma are getting front-page status for. I'm still so disgusted.
