I am finally back on!! I just got way too excited about having internet again but it is ok!! I guess it is time to do a wedding recap.
First off I slept amazing the night before. I am pretty sure I slept 9 hours and I woke up so refreshed. Only tiny things happened but absolutely nothing ruined my day. My hair dresser arrived at the venue and began on my hair, so I started asking what my bridesmaids wanted and she said she thought she was only doing mine. After a little freaking out (her not me!) we were ok and backup came. Then my flowers arrived and my bouquet had things falling off of it. I did not want to complain so I said I was fine with it but my mom could tell otherwise and it was changed. We then went to the church (I am still calm and not nervous at all) I am about to walk down the aisle, I have tears of joy about to burst out of my eyes, the doors shut and my brother (he walked me down the aisle because my dad has MS and is in a wheelchair) looks at me and asks if I had my lace gown before or after the royal wedding. Not what I was expecting but completely his personality. When we reached the end my dad gave me away and told DH that he was giving his gift from God away and to treasure me forever. I just wanted to throw my arms around my daddy!! I was shaking (I really do not remember this but I guess I was) because MIL reaches out and touches my arm while we are praying and it meant so much for her to do that. So anyway the ceremony went on, our pastor used his iPad and I was a little worried that when the MOH and BM put the rings on it the screen would react but it did not thank goodness! Then the funny part happens. We washed each others feet and DH had dropped something on his toe a few days before and his toe nail was about to fall off (EWWW) thank goodness he warned me or else I would have been really surprised. Well the green socks that we had gotten him and the groomsmen would not go back on and the song was about to end so we looked at each other and decided to not put our shoes back on. At that point I really did not care because all we had to do was kiss and be charged. It was so perfect and everyone was surprised (even we were) at our carefree attitude towards the wedding.
So I know that was long and scatter brained but I needed to post about it! I missed you all terribly and I am so glad to be back!!
