Any Episcopalian knotties here?

I have a question about annulments in your religion.

If an Episcopalian marries a non denominational Christian with a non denominational officiant, does that marriage have to be annulled for him to remarry?

The man was raised "high" Episcopalian (sorry, I'm not really sure what that means)  if that changes anything.

I am not an Episcopalian but I would think not.  Generally marriages outside of the church are not recognized by the church so there would be no need for an annulment.  Though don't quote me on that.  I would ask their priest/pastor.
