FI and I always seem to book vacations on New Year's Day. So continuing with that tradition, we booked our honeymoon on Sunday! After looking at our finances and wedding budget, we decided that buying a house is more important than a fancy honeymoon (goodbye dreams of Bora Bora...). So we went with a cruise. We've both been on several cruises and we love them. We normally cruise via Royal Caribbean (out of New Jersey), but this time we're cruising via Carnival (out of Tampa). We leave 2 days after our wedding (November 4th). I am SO incredibly excited about our ship's itinerary. We're going to Cozumel, Belize, Roatan, and Grand Cayman. If anyone has any tips on what to do at each location, please let me know. I would love to hear any input you ladies may have! (No snorkeling though - oddly enough, fish creep me out. Haha.)
