I didn't see the 2nd part to your question:

generally someone will say hey G2G Xdate, Xtime, Xlocation and you RSVP. That is about all there is to it

We used to have them once every two months, but our board being so slow lately we probably won't have another one until things pick up and more people start posting.

As Mod, I typically will organize the GTGs, but anyone who wants to organize one can do so.

We also have a group on FB where we post details of the GTG (date/time/place) because we would rather only active Knotties know that info and keep creepy lurkers at bay .  The FB group is private (but you can see members) and we ask that you have at least 50 posts before you ask to join.  The group is called "Seattle Knotties!" .
