Oh, ladies! Yesterday was SO AWESOME! I seriously had the most fun I had ever had in my whole life! Here's a short recap:

BMs and I stayed at Hotel Monaco (fab, BTW) the night before and were up at 6:45 for hair. Our stylist was a bit late, but managed to get everyone finished on time, including one of my FGs and FI's mom. We had room service and Mimosas... it was great!

At 10:00, the MUA was supposed to arrive, but she didn't. At this point, my motto became "There's no crying in baseball and there's no stress on wedding day". At 10:45 I texted her and she responded that she had written down my day as Feb 26th (WTF?) so she didn't show up. My BM had luckily brought a ton of Bare Escentuals so my aunt ran to the store, bought some Great Lash -waterproof- and our makeup got did.

Our photographer arrived and took a few pictures, then we did our reveal picture. I LOVE FI! But the first thing he says to me is not, "Wow you look beautiful!" It's "Look at your boobs." Thanks, FI, thanks... he did say it later though. We took pictures in the lobby of Hotel Monaco and then left for the venue and hour early.

At the venue, I was totally realxed until about 2 minutes before the ceremony, I was a nervous wreck. FI's brother played the bagpipes, which everyone loved! We had our Ba'hai ceremony which was beautful and then FI almost tripped over my dress on the way back down the aisle.

Our venue was Acalia and they super quickly flipped the room for the reception while our guests enjoyed cocktail hour and we signed out documents and took some family pictures. They are amazing, I'll post more about it when I do my vendor reviews.

The food was good, everyone raved about the cake (Go Kelli!) and we had a BLAST dancing!

Afterward we stayed at Hotel 1000... OMG, there are no words. They were stellar!

I SO did not want a big wedding, I truly wanted something small at the courthouse, but I'm SO glad FI talked me in to this wedding. It was so awesome to be surrounded by 70 of our closest friends and family.

We're off on our HM soon... I'll post wedding pics when I can :o)

    TOTALLY my FI. Definitely going to happen, I can just see it now. LOL.

    Sounds like you had a few mishaps but you totally went with it! So glad you had such an awesome time!

    Yay! A soon to be new Nestie! Have a great time on your Hm, glad things went great, and hope you put your recs on Yelp.com, something I REALLY need to do. I'm starting to push other brides in that direction because I think it's something, besides coming to this wondeful site, that can help new brides to be. Congrats!

    Man, that totally sucks about your MUA but everything ended up good anyway, it sounds. :)

    Your FI (now DH) is hilarious. At least you'll remember what he said forever. :)

    Congratulations!  I too can picture my FI saying that about my dress - LOL!  And you had the best attitude - "no stress on your wedding day".

    I'm also so glad you posted this. It sounds like a pretty awesome day (besides the hiccups -MUA a no show yikes!) Congrats! and enjoy your hm!

    I'm so glad it was an amazing day for you guys!!  Sounds like you were relaxed and really enjoyed every moment.  Thank you for posting.  Big congrats and have a wonderful time on your honeymoon!

    Congrats! I love that so many of us say that your FI comment is something they could see their Fi saying. I am right there with them. And I am with the other ladies might have to steal that motto. Glad everything went well (minus a small hiccup) and now go enjoy your HM.
